Hey my lovelies, its been a while. Don’t worry I haven’t neglected you guys on this space, I’ve been away doing lots and lots of stuff but its good to be back blogging again after organising myself and putting a few things in order!
What better way to kickstart and get some inspiration other than at LFW?
It was fun this time around! I got to attend three shows and hangout at The Apartment (a central hub where I met fellow bloggers, brands and industry heads) in between.
Here’s a little photo diary of my highlights this season!
.:: Day 1 ::.
On Day 1, it was all about the Ong-Oaj Pairam Catwalk Show. A designer best known for Luxury Womenswear, his designs are divine and romantic, and this collection was all of that plus frills, silk and expert embroidery. The Ombre number below was one of my favourite looks. I must say, my outfit sort of mirrored the colour palettes which was totally unplanned!
I paired a long grey tee (Zara), thigh-high boots (Zara) and this Olivia Pope-esque (JOA) coat for my look. My bag essentials were simply a pair of sunglasses (Tom Ford), my camera (Canon) and this miracle hand balm by Rituals. And ofcourse, my cards and keys (not pictured).
You can view the rest of the Ong-Oaj Pairam A/W 16 Collection Here.
.:: Day 2 ::.
Day 2 had a lot more in store! I opted for a 70s inspired outfit: navy flared trousers (Zara) and a top (Topshop), paired with a tan jacket (Stradivarius) and heels (Zara).
My friend and designer Ngoni showcased her collection We Are Kin at The Apartment. It was bold, edgy and had wonderful asymmetric elements. I want literally everything in the collection.
Shortly after, I had a mini tour of The Apartment, and found a great place to work from (emails, content planning and stalking my favourite blogs ofcourse!). It was a desk decorated with the cutest stationery and accessories from a brand called Kikki. K. The rose gold bits did make me happy and feel right at home!
Refreshments and snacks were dotted all over, and I did have my fair share of raspberry cakes!
I also discovered a new skincare brand called KITA in the beauty room, and the philosophy and inspiration literally blew my mind away. They believe that true beauty comes from a sense of balance, which I wholeheartedly agree with. In the range there are 5 elements: Metal, Fire, Water, Earth and Wood, and you can discover which one you are, and the formulation that best suits you.
I can’t wait to receive a few bits from them and I’ll be sure to blog more about it!
Day 2 ended at the Gareth Pugh Show. Thanks to L’Oreal I was given backstage access, and I saw how the hairstyles were created, makeup looks done and nails crafted! After all the buzz from backstage I was able to watch the catwalk show (had some really good seats!). It was a collection that rang with Power Women. The sharp silhouettes, almost corporate look, neutral with a pop of blue colour palette was everything I needed to make my life.
I hope you enjoyed this post and I wish you a happy and productive week!

That was all good. But,it has been awhile from December. It seems like you are abit late to post pictures and blog about Lfw. I hope you have reflected and decide if your heart and mind is still into this. Spring is around the corner and possibly time for new shifts and directions.

Hey Shirley,
I love the photographs you take. You’re an amazing photographer. You should definitely do a video/vlog on photography. I just recently purchased my first DSLR camera (Canon T3i) and I love it. I just need help taking amazing pictures for my blog/vlog/Instagram, etc.

The Gareth Pugh collection is breathtaking! From the colour palette, to the clean lines and the amazing nails. I have to take to a closer look at it. Your thigh high sock boots from Zara are amazing. I’ll definitely look for a similar pair next winter.
