Mellow Yellow

FASHION, OUTFITS, PHOTO DIARY
December 27 2011

London at night is beautiful. I find myself on occasion, taking long strolls through the city as if I were visiting for the first time, getting lost in all the wonderful scenery and architecture. Lots to photograph for sure! I was born here, and I’ve known London all my life, but I feel like there are still places to be discovered, people to see, and great experiences to have… I got this yellow dress from Topshop last week, so flowy, so silky, so lovely! I adore it. Really loving the pops of colour at the moment. Getting quite tired of… Read More »

Summer Afternoon, Photo diary.

Life, PHOTO DIARY
August 1 2011

A beautiful summer’s afternoon, with a cloudless sky and the sun shining as bright as ever, spent with amazing people.. My sister Kezia, my friend Titi and I spent the afternoon at Hyde Park yesterday, just soaking up the sun and having a jolly good time. Titi brought along her awesome home made cocktail and we enjoyed it with snacks, while jamming to Kezia’s impressive music playlist. Each song brought with it memories and we talked for ages about them. It was lovely. Hope you had a good weekend too! xo What I’m Wearing Top : H&M Skirt : Topshop… Read More »

Candy & Cocktails!

PHOTO DIARY
April 14 2011

After events in New York, Milan, and Paris, Furla celebrated the success of the iconic Candy Bag in London, where I and a few others attended. Furla held the party at their flagship store on Regent’s Street, and it was hosted by Susie (of Stylebubble) and Kit (of StyleSlicker). The evening was filled with colour, cocktails and stylish outfits, and we moved to the banging beats of Super DJ Bip Ling’s decks. There were a lot of Candy Bags on show, orange ones, yellow ones, green ones, blue ones, a lot! I had my eye on one through out the… Read More »

We had been talking for ages about meeting up, and we finally did! She’s such a sweetheart! We visited Wilder, a lovely Vintage Store (where most of these photos were taken), and there were so many nice things! I really had to keep myself from spending! Lol!  I tried. I really tried. Until I got to H&M. I just couldn’t let these amazing pieces go un-purchased (last three photos)… Pink Body… Read More »

Brush With Fashion.

PHOTO DIARY
November 19 2010

Last night I attended the launch of “Brush With Fashion” – a limited edition make-up collaboration with the London College of Fashion and The Body Shop. It is a collection of sustainable and cruelty-free make-up, with built-in brushes for the Spring 2011 season. It was lovely to see models of all ages and sizes take to the catwalk wearing sustainable designs for Spring Summer 2011, created by alumni of LCF and emerging names of the fashion world, William Tempest and Jena Theo. The models also showcased four looks created by LCF graduate Nikki Palmer, using the Brush With Fashion palettes. After the… Read More »

The Art of Darkness Collection…

PHOTO DIARY
September 12 2010

Yesterday, Sammi and I made our way down to Beak Street, where the new Illamasqua Flagship Store is situated, to attend a preview of the Art of Darkness collection. We were the first few to see the new store, which was a huge privilage. It was spacious and very beautifully decorated right down to the fine details, like the sparkly floors and gleaming glass reception stand. The Art of Darkness is… “a world where seeing is believing, and believing can be dangerous… …a world in which the lines between the real and the mythical, the past and the future, the… Read More »

Baked To Last.

PHOTO DIARY
June 26 2010

I had the joy of attending this event along with a few other bloggers yesterday.  It was held in the Penthouse Suite of The very Posh Westbury Hotel, in Mayfair, London.  The setting was just divine.  The suite overlooked a lovely terrace, and there was a table set up with drinks, appetisers and cupcakes (…we got to decorate our own! ^.^).  There was a little talk about the new products coming to stands (Hair Care, Vitamin C and Baked-To-Last ranges), and a demonstration using some pieces from the new Baked-To-Last collection by make-up artist Chase Aston. A representative from the ECPAT UK charity came… Read More »
