Last summer, while searching the shelves at WHSmith for potential summer reads, I came across a book called “The Old Girl Network“. The catchy title and beautifully illustrated cover are what drew me close. It’s a book by the author Catherine Alliott, and it’s about a young lady called Polly, who finds herself helping a stranger to find his lost love, and in the process finds love for herself. (Sleek Makeup Haul.) I popped into Superdrug yesterday with the intention of picking up Majestic, a True Colour Lipstick by Sleek, after spotting it on Kaushal’s Blog! My little 8 year old brother Nathaniel took these photos of me. He wants me to stay, but I have to go. Back to University that is. I spent yesterday with my sister Kezia and her Friend Reniece. They came up to visit Notts, and we shopped and toured the city, and later enjoyed a lovely lunch at Nando’s. It was so much fun, Kezia cracked pointless jokes as usual and it was just awesome to be in her company again. Sinister  Sinister is a lustre lipstick from the Evil Queen Collection. It applies on quite sheer and I think it’s better used with a lip liner and a gloss on top, rather than on it’s own, however it is a lovely shade and seeing as plum lips are trending, it’ll be great for some of us that don’t want to go all out with a deeper plum!
