What better way to treat myself after a gruelling Two hours and Ten minutes of Pure Mathematics eh? I had my Algebra Exam today …One word. Dreadful. It was pretty tough, and I found it a lot more challenging than the other exams that i’ve had so far! I’m just hoping that I did okay, but I know I’m going to have to work my butt off to do very well in the exams I have left…just to balance things! Anyhoozles, to cheer myself up, I went into town for some frappuccino and a spot of retail therapy! I initially just wanted… Read More »
The weather has been very lovely these past few days, and I’ve been taking advantage of it! It’s not very often we get to enjoy such temperatures here in Britain, so we have to make the most of it while it’s here! I’ve had my Gap Maxi Dress for Two years, and I fancied a bit of a change, so I snipped off a few inches and turned it into a cute flowy mini dress! I paired it with my Gladiator wedges, and to finish of the look, I accessorized the whole outfit with a brown waist belt and some… Read More »

Coral Polish, Eyeko. (£3.50) Recently, I was approached by Eyeko, kindly asking if i’d like to try out some of their new products. I accepted to do so …what would I lose right? Coral Polish was one of the products I received. It’s darker than most other Corals i’ve seen. It is a lovely colour, however it was a bit of a mish applying it. I found that the formula was too thick (…probably why it took ages to dry!) and the brush was quite flimsy. I did soldier on and the result was good. Here I applied Two coats… My Ratings: (5★… Read More »

I opted for one of my usual everyday looks today! I kept my face fairly neutral. I applied my foundation all over my face with my stippling brush (MACs Studio Fix & 187), powdered it with MACs MSF in Dark and blended it in with a big Kabuki (Illamasqua’s Body Kabuki), then I brushed on a peach blush (MACs Peaches.) A pop of gold eyeshadow on my lids (MACs Goldmine), a tan eye shadow in the crease (MACs Texture) and on the outer corners, a dark Matte Brown eyeshadow (Sleek’s Storm palette). I followed by lining my upper lash line with a black liquid eye liner (L’Oreal’s Superliner), and… Read More »
oOoO! Such a Girlie colour! Hehe! Barbie Nailed Polish, Sleek Makeup. (£2.99) At the Sleek Makeup Event, I was instantly drawn to the Nail Varnishes they had on display, and I remember I and a few other bloggers went swatch-o-manic! Haha! The colours of the varnishes were very vibrant, and I was so happy to find that I recieved some in my Goody Bag! Barbie was one of them. I applied two coats of it today. The colour is beautiful, and it was easy to apply and at a bargain price of only 3 quid, you can’t go wrong! My… Read More »
Yesterday, I and a few other Beauty Bloggers had the joy of attending an event organised by Sleek Makeup. It was such an amazing day and we all had an incredible time! We were pampered with Cocktails and lovely Savouries as we swatched and played around with a few of the new upcoming products. We also got to suggest ideas …and most fun of all BOWL! hehe! They were so generous …we got to leave with a massive goody bag filled with all sorts… A Makeup Book, Brushes, Lip tints, Nail Varnishes and the New Limited Edition iDivine Palette …Circus! … Read More »
After the Sleek Event, Sammi, Hannah and I headed to Oxford Street for a bit of shopping! We went into Topshop to have a little nosey around the New Makeup! I bought a Blush in Neon Rose (£6.00) along with the Sun Star Eyeshadow Trio (£8.00), both from the SS ’10 Collection. Neon Rose is a really pink creamy blush. It’s smooth to apply and the intensity can be built up, depending on what you’re going for. I’ve been into a lot of cream based products lately, including shadows. They are really easy to work with! I love this Trio.… Read More »
