Some time ago I showed you This Post, where I chatted about my Top 5 blushes at the time. A lot of you liked the idea of the post, so today I will be sharing with you my Top 5 MAC Lipsticks! I will also show you some dupes I have in my collection, that are closely matched to these. The dupes are not the exact same as the MAC lippies, but bare similar qualities, and can be used, in most cases to achieve the same look! 🙂
LIPSTICK SWATCHES
I swatched the lispticks on my lips so you can have a better look. My favourite MAC lippies are on the top lip, while their dupes are on the bottom lip. Flash was used.

OMG I LOVE YOU<3 I’ve just been looking at loads of mac lipsticks to get this weekend (Ruby Woo, Shy Girl and Morange are some I was thinking of) and I thought I might aswell look at some cheaper ones first but I didn’t find any dupes that were available in the UK. Thank you so much Shirley!xxxx

Thank you so much for the dupe lists! It’s such a great idea to take a picture of both high end and drugstore products on your lips at the same time so people can get a real idea of how similar they are.
Now if only I could spend my student loan on MAC lipsticks instead of unnecessary things like food and rent! x

As I’m growing older I’m trying to experiment more with my looks and I was actually in MAC the other day and got samples (like you advised on one of your videos of the translucent powder) and tried on ‘Chatterbox’ with a plum coloured pencil to tone it down…loved it!

Love the new look of the blog. The l/s are nice. You picked a range of colors. I’d go as far to say that I like some of the dupes better than the ones by MAC. Really like Sleek’s Fuschia and MAC’s Morange. (repeats in head not to buy more makeup, lolol)
