Headstart to Autumn ~ Shirley’s Guide to Next Season’s Trends!

Uncategorized
September 2 2011
I think everyone around me, from my little brother to my colleagues, know how excited I am for Autumn Winter Fashion. They’ve heard me go on and on about next season’s trends, they’ve seen how excited I look when I come across new collections and they know how ready I am to put away my summer clothes!
Here are a few trends I’ve spotted while perusing the web, and flipping through my favourite fashion magazines (Vogue & Elle, but really.. do I even have to say it?? You know the score!).
Oh heavens. Christmas has come early. Being such a huge fan of polka dots, you can just imagine my  utter delight when I came across these beauties. Love.

The elegant and classy looking Pencil Skirt makes it’s triumphant return. Hoorah…purely because I love the way the look! Perfect for boyish figures too.

Nothing quite as amazing as seeing a girl rock the androgynous look. Makes my heart pop!
Oo la la. Berry is so the new red. One thing I am happy about is the fact that maxi’s/midi’s are still going to be around for a while. I do love them.
The ‘not so conventional’ look. Make a statement with ‘out of this world’ pieces. I like the futuristic vibe of this trend!

Also, check out the Video I uploaded of me sharing my Wardrobe Staples for Autumn. I also share some of my favourite accesories! Hope you enjoy!

September is my favorite month, not just because it’s my bday 🙂 but because it’s time for Fall fashion! My fave trend is polka dots. Can’t wait to try it with a vampy lip.

I love the Polka dots but I really love the menswear, I already lean towards more masculine tailoring nice to see it’ll be in style this year. I also love when you pop up in my reader!

I am so in love with this post. The androgynous trend has to be an absolute favourite of mine, and I recently did a post with my own take on it – one of many to come hopefully. My blog is two days old so still very much a baby in the blogging world, but I would be so appreciative if you checked it out!
