1. Wearing a favourite outfit pairing.
Double Denim with a touch of tan and a cheeky cocktail to accessorize? Yes please!

2. Beautiful places.
There’s just something about a well thought out design of a room or place that makes me happy. This is Chai Tang, a Chinese restaurant in Lagos. I loved the interior so much, it spiced up my meal!

3. Fresh organic fruit.
This one is a native apple here in Nigeria I enjoyed today! 1 of 5 a day… keeping the body in good health!

4. No Make-up Days.
I love those days where I can whip out my makeup bag and give my face a good “beat”, but I also love those days I can go without my makeup! It’s usually after having my eyebrows freshly threaded, and when my skin is cooperating with me!

5. Shopping.
I can hear you saying “ofcourse Shirley”! Haha! I was invited by Aviva Jewelry to have a look at their newest additions and fell in love with some pieces. This ring especially.

    Hey Shirley!

Such a lovely post. Made me stop and think. What does make me happy? Some of the things you mentioned bring me total engulfing happiness. I’m blessed and so lucky to live in an Island so we get tropical fruits pretty much all year round. I also love the experience of going out to see what new finds I can score; so I am totally with you on the shopping front. The third thing that is a new-found hobby is photography. Especially of the beautiful landscapes, landmarks, historic buildings, the ocean, and palm trees. Lol. My best friend. She brings such a light in my life. I love that we get to do life together. And the last but certainly not the least: traveling. I was made to move.
