H&M Coat // ZARA Belt, Leggings, Court Shoes, Bag // MAC Media Lipstick
When you make up your mind to do something, no matter how hard it may seem at first, just “doing” the thing, rather than spending ages “thinking of doing” the thing, is what gets results.
I’m very proud of this post, as I took the photos myself…with a tripod and remote, and with people watching (I even struck up a conversation with a sweet elderly lady who really wanted to know what I was getting up to!).
It’s been a long time since I took the initiative to do this myself, as I had become so reliant on others to help me. But I set out to blog today, and rather than just thinking about all the woes and stuff against it, I just did it.
I reaaaaallly wanted to share this gorgeous coat with you, it’s one of my new buys. I synched it in at the waist with this gold plated belt, just thought it added a modern twist to it! There have been many wonderful things in the shops lately, and yes you guessed it, i’ve done a little shopping! Hehe! I’m planning on sharing them in a video tomorrow! 🙂

What a great basic cold-weather outfit. Adding the cinching belt – a gold plated one at that – is a really luxe and clever way to combat the problem of boxy oversized wool coats.

The photos look great. It’s cool that you just set off to do something instead of thinking about it. I’m in the thinking stages right now. Just the thought of venturing away from my home to take outfit photos…one day though. 🙂
